Today is July 27th. First, I would like to offer my sympathies to my favorite Author's friends and family, E LYNN HARRIS . He passed away on Saturday and his work will be truly missed.


I am starting my new lifestyle change TODAY after really enjoying my 25th year class reunion. I had a wonderful weekend and the reunion could not have been better. I did wake up to weigh myself and found that I had actually lost weight.

My height is 5'3". I weigh 179 pounds. I am going to do the 4 day diet by Dr. Ian Smith. Today is the first day of the Induction module. The way this works for those of you not familiar with this diet, Dr. Ian divide the modules up into 7 modules and you stay on each module 4 days at a time, longer if you're brave especially while doing the Induction Module which is the hardest one for me.

Well, it is now 1:23pm CST and so far so good. My plan is to blog everyday on how I am feeling. I did eat a bag of Doritos that I could have passed up but I wanted something crunchy but anyway, I packed my lunch for work and have managed thus far to stay out of my co-workers candy dish. I believe that much of my weight can be attributed to junk food, especially sweets and therefore I am really go to work hard to avoid that. I will try to write in my blog daily but if I miss a day, I will just add that to the next time I blog. Also, I will give my weight every 4 days when I change modules just to give a status of how I am doing. Happy Monday everyone.
